Publication Fee

DISCOURSE: Indonesian Journal of Social Studies and Education is an open-access journal committed to providing immediate, free, and unrestricted access to all published articles for readers worldwide. To maintain publication quality and ensure the journal's long-term sustainability, operational costs are supported through an Article Processing Charge (APC).

The Article Processing Charge (APC) is set at IDR 1,500,000 for each manuscript accepted for publication. This fee covers editorial management, peer review, copyediting, layout and formatting, journal platform management and maintenance, and long-term digital archiving.

The revised APC will take effect on November 1, 2026, and will apply to new manuscripts submitted for publication in the March 2027 issue and subsequent issues.

All manuscripts submitted before November 1, 2026, will remain subject to the previous APC rate, including those undergoing editorial assessment, peer review, revision, or awaiting publication following acceptance, regardless of their eventual publication date.

DISCOURSE does not charge a submission fee. The Article Processing Charge (APC) is only payable after a manuscript has been formally accepted for publication following the editorial evaluation and peer-review process.
